Hedge fund Paragon’s commodity-focused strategy led the way with a whopping 294 per cent return, fuelled by a long list of precious metal miners. Paragon chief investment officer John Deniz snagged a rare 10-bagger as shares in Toronto-listed Discovery Silver soared 1000 per cent last year.
